Introduction to Nature Photography on the Mainland Common Loop: Sunday June 16 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

We are excited to announce our first ever Intro to Nature Photography event with Truro artist Darlene Wright-Watters from Creative Watters Art and Design! This is a session for the first time photographer, or anyone looking to learn how to take better pictures while out on the trails.

We'll start with an "outdoor classroom" where Darlene will share information on how to take better photos; especially in nature! You are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs for this portion, and we will have storage available for while you are on your walk (if you don't have a car nearby).

Then you will venture out on the Mainland Common Loop Trail and practice your newfound skills! Take new shots you've never tried, and notice trail aspects in a whole new light. After the walk, we'll meet back for a quick debrief where you can share your thoughts and photos with one another.

Attendance is free for Halifax North West Trails Association Members, and $5 for non-members.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get settled before the session starts. We will be meeting in the parking lot by the ball field at the top of Westridge Drive.

Registration is mandatory as there is a 20 person limit to this event.
Please register on Eventbrite.

Let us know if you would like a lawn chair available or if you can bring your own

See you out there!
